Those bright white dots are the laser at work. Observe how the laser beam fires where the text is designed to be. This sign drop down was for a local company that wanted a clean stainless sign with black markings.  While using a state-of-the-art marking medium we are able to bond a glass-like substance to the metal permanently resulting in a crisp, black mark.  This is the same technology used by space programs who mark every part of a ship that goes into space.
